APCOST with the support of Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSMCRI), Govt. of India has setup one Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant for drinking water purpose in Kosur Village of Movva Mandal, Krishna District. It is catering its services nearly 7 neighboring villages 20 Litres water is being sold for Rs. 5/-. Nearly 1015 members are being got employment for production and distribution.
Sub-Regional Science Centre, Rajamahendravaram has sanctioned by Ministry Of Culture, Govt. of India through NCSM, Kolkata (a unit of Govt. of India Enterprises) is under construction. It will cater its services to 5 coastal districts. It is expected to complete by 2021 July.
