Tripura State Council for Science & Technology and Tripura Mathematical Society have jointly organized a one day National Webinar on "National Mathematics Day" on the occasion of 133rd birth anniversary & death centenary year of Mathematical Genius Srinivasa Ramanujan on 22nd December 2020 at 1 pm. Prof. R N Bhaumik, Agartala and Dr. Satyabachi Sar, Kolkata attended the webinar as Speakers. The webinar attended by large number students of schools and colleges, teachers and faculties of Schools and Colleges from across the country. Webinar conducted in google meet.

The 10th National Science Film Festival of India (NSFFI) has been organized on November 24-27, 2020 through online platform jointly by Vigyan Prasar, DST, GOI and Tripura State Council for Science & Technology. This event has been inagurated by Shri Jishnu Dev Varma, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura. Earlier this event was scheduled to be held on March 18-22, 2020 at Agartala-Tripura, but, it was postponed due to COVID-19 pandeminc worldwide. Subsequently, it was decided to conduct this event through online platform this year.
NSFFI is a flagship event of Vigyan Prasar, Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India to celebrate science outreach through cinema.
NSFFI is crucial to Indian's national agenda of science communication and inculcating scientific temper among her citizens as is enshrined in our Constitution [Article 51 A (h)]. Such an event, primarily, provides an excellent platform to the creative talent and aspirations from across India and even abroad to highlight their artistic work.
NSFFI is India’s first of its kind of film festival where documentaries and short films on popular Science, Technology, Health & Environmental issues are being screened and a national competition of science films is being organized. Professional and student filmmakers are felicitated with cash prizes, trophies, and citations. Aim & Objectives: It aims to foster, strengthen and create scientific temper through films that popularise science, technology, innovations, energy, environment, medicine, and emerging sciences, agriculture and traditional knowledge. And moreover, it also promotes appreciation of science films. This year 116 number of films have selected to nomination out of more than 300 films from across the country.

Student Project Programme is one the major key programmes of the Tripura State Council for Science & Technology. It is 3rd edition of this event organized on March 4-5, 2020 at Shahid Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel, Agartala. Targetted participoants were the students of Higher & Technical Educations of the State including Universities / NIT / Medical Colleges /TIT/ Degree Colleges. This year total 36 Projects submitted and top 4 Projects send to SEED Division, DST, GOI for Suggestion & Support.

Tripura Space Applications Centre (TSAC) in collaboration with North Eastern Space Application Centre (NESAC) organized State Meet on Use of Geo-spatial Technology for Development Planning On December 03, 2019.
Meet was to explore the possibilities for utilising Space Science & Technology Tools in development planning and monitoring in the State.
184 delegates from different State Government /Central organizations like NESAC, NRSC and ISRO etc. participated.
93 proposals/ ideas were undertaken for utilization of space technology for development.
