Awareness program in Robotics at 100 schools of Namsai (aspirational) District

Two number of patents were granted to as follows- On 19th Sept,2019, the Honorable Deputy Chief Minister Shri Chowna Mein launched the Awareness programme on Robotics at School Level at the aspirational district (Namsai), by operating the Lego Robot amidst the Honorable Local MLA Shri ZingnuNamchoom, Honorable Lekang MLA Smt. Jummum Ete Deori, Honorable Deputy Commisioner Shri Bijoy Talukdar, Honorable Director-cum-Member Secretary of the Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Science and Technology Shri C.D.Mungyak, Heads of all the Departments and other Senior Officers of the District.

The programme was conducted for 100 schools. After the awareness programme , 2 teachers from each of the 100 schools were trained on Arduino Uno. About 4000 students and 200 teachers were benefitted from the programme. Bright students were shortlisted and the best 2 were selected for the Regional Robotics Competition held at Guwahati on 21st January,2020. The two students represented Arunachal Pradesh in the Regional Robotics Competition held at Guwahati and secured 2nd Position. Ideas were collected from students for the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam IGNITE competition announced every year, by the National Innovation Foundation, an autonomous body of the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. The entire programme was completed in a span of 4 months.

STATE LEVEL INNOVATION FESTIVAL 2020 2020-01-25 25th January and 26th January, 2020: STATE LEVEL INNOVATION FESTIVAL two-day long Innovation Festival 2020 organized by A.P. State Council for Science & Technology, Department of Science & Technology on 25th January and 26th January 2020 with partnership with National Innovation Foundation was inaugurated at science centre, IG Park by Science & Technology Secretary Shri Ameya A Abhayankar and Director cum Member Secretary Shri C D Mungyak. A total number of 55 participants from NERIST, NIT Yupia, and students from VKV Chimpu, Govt. Secondary School, P Sector, Itanagar, Govt. Secondary School Police colony Itanagar, VKV Ziro, Holy Cross School Itanagar, JNV Goju, VKV Tatia gram, VKV Tezu, VKV NEEPCO-Yazali, GIS Dari, and schools from different part of state, Grassroots Innovators, Artesian and Entrepreneurs from ArunachalPradesh and Assam. All the participants have shown their satisfaction in respect of the content, delivery and presentations of the topics covered during the program. The two-day program witnessed interaction session, technical session and discussion among the innovators and motivation especially in all the educational institutions. Manak State Level Event was also organized where students stressed upon the use and port to the motivated in the years to come, more innovators would forward to display their creativity and innovations at such events. Arunachal Pradesh Science and Technology Council plans to take such events in different parts of the states and invites all innovators, craftsmen and artisans to come forward and share their work with the council, which willthen take it forward appropriately of this festival to provide privately a common platform for grassroots innovators, students, artisans, and entrepreneur from the state to exchange their innovation related activities and Ideas. Student Solar Ambassador 2019-02-10 "Student Solar Ambassador Workshop, a seed concept of Gandhi Global Solar Yatra-2019 to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was organized by launching solar mission by Shri Pema Khandu, Hon,ble Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh during the launch of Hamara Arunachal Abhiyan at I.G. Park on 2nd October 2019. The preprogramme was organized by Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Science & Technology, Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, Itanagar, under the supervision of Shri Ameya A Abhyankar, IAS, Secretary Science & Technology, IT and HCM, Smt Bhanu Prabha, IAS, Special Secretary, IT and Nodal Officer Hamara Arunachal Abhiyan and Shri C.D. Munagyak, Director cum Member Secretary, A.P. State Council for Science & Technology, Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh Itanagar. More than 4500 students across the state assembled their own solar lamp on the day. More than 3000 students from 22 different schools of capital complex including Naharlagun and Banderdewa assembled their Solar Lamp at Arunachal Pradesh Science Centre, I.G. Park, Itanagar. Where as more than 1500 students from different Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas assemble their solar lamp in their school campus at district level. An Exhibition on Gandhi, Science Technology and Innovation was also setup during the launch of Hamara Arunachal Abhiyan and Solar Mission at I.G. Park Itanagar by State Council for Science & Technology, Itanagar. The event was culminated by taking pledge on Non-Violence to Environment admistered by Hon�ble Chief Minister. Followed by lighting of solar lamp by Hon�ble Deputy Chief Minister, Learned Chief Secretary, Hon�ble Home Minister, DGP, Hon'ble Ministers and participating students. The main objective of the workshop was to sensitize young minds about energy sustainability, climate change and environmental care, besides promotion of solar energy and skill development.
Inauguration of Innovation Hub and Space Education "1. Innovation Hub and Space Education Centre has been inaugurated and dedicated to the A.P science centre and state as a whole by the then Hono'ble Minister Shri Nabam Rebia, land Management, Forest and Environment, WCD and SJE&TA. as chief guest, shri Shivprasad M Khened, as guest of Honour, Shri Techi Kaso, Special Guest, Lt. Gaken Ete Secretary Science & Technology, shri Bamang Mangha chairman Science & Technology, with august presence of head of all India museum of different states. the infrastructure facilities dedicated in innovation hub are:- = Robotics lab- Arduino, Lego = electronics labs = chemistry, biology lab = Hall of fame = Design studio- 3D printing = REsource Centre =Physics Lab"
